A wine built to stand the test of time, this Petit Verdot was crafted using 50% new French oak, lending a sophisticated influence from aroma to finish. With a deep color and intense concentration, it hails from our vineyard’s well-drained, hillside soils on the southern side of Spring Creek Road, offering a bold expression reflective of its Allegheny-facing terrior.
From a site steeper than “the Steep Face”, our Malbec rivals Petit Verdot in color and Merlot in fruit. A difficult grape to grow on a challenging site, our Malbec is a labor of love continued by demand.
Our flagship red, Houndstooth is a refined blend of 52% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Franc, 16% Petit Verdot, and 8% Malbec. Each varietal is fermented separately, then blended for balance and complexity, offering layered dark fruit and a smooth, structured finish.
